Need

LiverWELL, a not-for-profit organisation, champions the interests of people affected or at risk of viral hepatitis and liver disease. After expanding their remit, they recognised the need for a culture and capability review to support delivery of their seven year strategic plan. LiverWELL needed to identify and prioritise key actions to increase organisational capability and impact. With limited resources, they applied for the WerkInKind program to access an experienced Werkling who could support the creation of this roadmap.

Solution

After the WerkInKind sponsorship was secured, an experienced people and culture Werkling, specialising in purpose-led organisations, was matched to the project. The need was scoped in detail and included a range of insight gathering activities that would inform the development of a Capability Framework and a Ways of Working Workshop.

Result

Working closely with senior leadership, the wonderful Werkling helped to facilitate a united view on next steps and actions to enhance impact and outcomes. The LiverWELL team now has a deeper understanding of existing strengths and how to leverage them, combined with clearly identified priorities and a plan for building new capabilities.

This project was sponsored by WerkInKind, our social impact program that provides not-for-profit (NFP) organisations who work with vulnerable communities the opportunity to access amazing Werkling talent. Learn more about how you can apply for the grant here.

LiverWELL CEO, Elaine Montegriffo shares:

This has been an enormously valuable project and a critical piece in enabling the delivery of our ambitious long term strategy. The Werkling we were matched to quickly built trust and strong rapport across our team creating opportunities for us all to reflect and appreciate the diversity of our strengths and how we can design ways of working to ensure we’re able to better utilise them. We’ve begun to build new capabilities and reshaped roles to enable people to shine.  As CEO I’ve very much appreciated this Werkling’s expert advice, support and counsel – she has been a delight to work with – thank you Werkling!
